Varun Bahl's gorgeous collection entitled "India Noveau" with a mix traditional fabrics and some really fun modern ideas. I loved the net and sheer fabric with the peek a boo cholis and bodices underneath for the tops and the sheer lengha bottom with the visible pajami. Really cute idea that has carried over from last year's trend. The designs were very simple with very little embroidery. More concentration was on the fabric and the fall of the outfits.
The colour palette was a complete shock! It was mainly black, cobalt, grey and red with hints of ombre in some of the designs. One of my favourite pieces is the cobalt blue sari with the black lining. I've seen style at so many retail stores like Winners, H&M, Zara and so many more. The outlining trend is big for the fall and I love how Mr. Bahl includes it in Desi fashion.
