This dress puts a whole new spin on the idea of the "Little Black Dress" otherwise known to fashionistas as the LBD. It's the dress that you throw on and you know, the world knows you looking amazing in that dress. But what about a LBD that weighed 29 pounds and is worth 5.6 million dollars? Wow!This is the genius behind the latest design by British designer Debbie Wingham at Ukraine's Fashion Week. Ms. Wingham hand sewed this dress that has 50 two carat black diamonds embellishing the peplum and the shoulder shrug. The rest of the dress is done with beading and white diamonds with gold threading. I love love the sheer bottom and the mermaid look. Ladies, the mermaid look is totally back and I've always loved it. Overall the dress has more of a mature silhouette and I love the bustier top and peplum, but not really the threadwork in the middle. I think it would look better plain. There is just so much on at the top. Do you guys agree?
I wonder who is going to rock this dress on the red carpet or in the next fashion editorial spread? Hopefully one of our Desi girls wears this!
