2013 Colour of the Year: Emerald

As a new year approaches, we usually reflect on what happened in the past year and what we look forward to in the future. I don't like to look at the past and dwell on it rather, I look at the past and learn from my experiences.  This year in a nutshell I feel was one of the best years for my family and I. I am so happy and grateful for all the events good and bad that happened to me because I learned from all of them and will continue to do so. 2012 was a wonderful year and I can't wait to see what 2013 holds. I know it's going to be fantastic!

2013 looks like a year of some gorgeous trends and one of my favourite colours has been named the colour of the year by Pantone! Emerald!! Pantone is the world leader in setting a colour standard for the world of design which includes, fashion and interior decorating. Now that Emerald has been chosen, you are going to see it everywhere! I'm in love with the colour and always have been. It's so gorgeous and lush looking. A gorgeous colour that emulates beauty and elegance and has a very calming and balancing effect. Beautiful!
