The annual event we have all been waiting for made its way to our TV screens on 4th December. The multi-inspirational show displayed the best in hand-crafted lingerie for this season on the glistening catwalk. Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, as well as Rihanna provided the entertainment for the night however, they too couldn't even take attention away from the breathtakingly gorgeous models. Of course I'm talking about the likes of Miranda Kerr, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Alessandra Ambrosio, and other VS angels.
Watching this show is like watching beautiful theatre...skipping one part is just something you cannot afford to do. From the time the glitter settles on the last catwalk work for this year's collection begun. With all that time and preparation what unfolds before your eyes is something so breathtaking it sends chills down one's spine......that, ladies and gentlemen is the beauty that is Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
The show opened with a tribute to the 'Circus'. A testament which showcased how fabulous and mesmerizing the circus can actually be........
'Dangerous Liasons'
..was one of my favourite segments of the night. It was like something out of a Bond movie. This chapter incorporated all that I loved about women: The fierceness, the Power, and of course the Beautiful make-up that is a woman......
'Calendar Girls'
Our next category took the prize for most playful. this segment took us on a journey through out the year from the beginning 'January' to 'June' all the way to 'December'..........
'Pink is Us'
this tribute to the lovely ladies that are VS angels couldn't have shown them in an even better light....
'Angels in Bloom'
showed us the sexiness of nature. Alessandra Ambrosio had the pleasure of wearing this years 2.5 million dollar bra and she executed on the ramp in that item......Mother Nature must have tumbled and fell right from the heavens.......like i said there is just something about a VS angel in a 2 million dollar bra.....
"Silver Screen Angels'
Where do I even begin with this segment I could start by saying that Angels in Bloom was actually the last chapter of this show but i had to save the best for last. All i can say about it is that i was transported to another world during this segment...... I still don't know how to describe the magnificence of that part. Maybe Bruno Mars' song could explain it better. His performance just enhanced that showcase so much; livening the portrayal of the Silver Screen tribute.........
Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is an experience so beautiful words sometimes aren't the best to describe the phenomenon. Each time I see a VSFS I always I remember going through a roller-coaster of emotions. Its sad that we have to wait another whole year for the next one though ........ Until then keep shining bright like a diamond. XOXO
