The rainbow spectrum trend from Elie Saab's spring 2012 and couture
runways ended yesterday with a sleek, simple theme of black, gold,
ivory and green. There was no shortage of glam gowns, of course - they
were just as dazzling and red carpet-ready as ever.
Here are 5 of my favorites from the fall 2012 collection.
High-shine green is one of the hues of the moment. Raise your hand if you'd like to test drive the trend in this belted, beaded gown.
Here's Karlie Kloss, working it in a fawn-colored, long-sleeve gown. I'd love to see this one on a redhead like Jessica Chastain or Julianne Moore!
Speaking of celebs, this one feels oh-so-Angelina Jolie. We've seen a lot of dresses like this on the Paris runways this season. Are you into the look?
This pale pretty number would be so great for a wedding. I love how the blousy, belted waistline gives the dress a effortless, casual twist. So cool!
Yes, I saved the shiniest dress for last. This plunging neckline number is dying to be worn on the red carpet. Personally, I'd love to see Rooney Mara break her black and white routine in this glam gown.
So ladies, which one is your favorite? Which celebs would you love to see wearing these gowns on the red carpet? Do tell!
